Christmas for Emily

Thank you for visiting!

Let me introduce you to a six-year-old girl who was born with no immune system. Every day is a fight to stay healthy. The first two and a half years of her life were spent in and out of an incubator in the hospital after a bone marrow transplant. It is crucial to keep her living environment free from mold, dust, germs, and any other contaminates. The family has to be next to compulsive to maintain the level of cleanliness required for such an environment.

This family’s home, unfortunately, backs up to a gravel pit, which makes keeping their home free of dust and contaminates especially challenging. The old seals on the windows and doors in the family’s home are deteriorating and are letting a fair amount of dust into their home, especially when the wind picks up. At least 5 windows and 1 door need to be replaced, and more if donations allow.

As much as our company (Wholesale Windows) would like to complete the whole project on our own, it’s just not financially feasible at this time. We are going to donate the labor to install the windows and doors as well as the cost of the windows or doors not provided for by donations. We’ve created this website for anyone who would like to donate to this cause. Any amount will help, whether great or small.

Sometimes I question whether or not projects like this are worthy based on surrounding facts with the individuals. I’ve never felt more certain about helping out a cause than I have here. The family’s medical bills are at a high, both because of expenses related to their daughter’s most recent bone marrow transplant and the lifetime maximum payout from their insurance company has been reached.

Any contribution you can make to this cause will be greatly appreciated. If we can reach donations in excess of the cost of the window and door replacement, the rest will be given to the family to assist with their current medical bills and Christmas presents.

If you would like any additional information about this project, please feel free to contact me at anytime by phone: (801)787-9343, or by email: alan@wholesalewindowinc.com, or at our store: 736 South State St. Orem, UT.

Please send this message and website address along to anyone you think might be interested in helping as well.

Thank You!
